Responsibilities

- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and recommend remediation strategies for ML systems
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams on ethical AI principles
- Create transparency documentation for automated decision-making systems
- Advise on policy development for generative AI governance and synthetic media
- Establish metrics for measuring AI system fairness and societal impact
- Mentor junior data scientists on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, data ethics, or responsible AI initiatives
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global regulations
- Proven track record of designing bias mitigation techniques for ML models
- Expertise in participatory design methodologies for ethical tech development
- Strong background in privacy-preserving technologies (differential privacy, federated learning)
- Experience presenting complex ethical concepts to diverse technical and non-technical audiences
