You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neuroscientists, and roboticists to develop actionable frameworks for emerging technologies. This role requires equal parts technical expertise and futurist foresight to guide our R&D roadmap toward market-ready innovations by 2026.
Our innovation lab offers unparalleled resources including quantum annealing systems, neuromorphic computing clusters, and immersive VR prototyping environments. You'll report directly to our Chief Technology Officer and lead a cross-functional team of PhD researchers and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI integration in healthcare, logistics, and climate science sectors
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging tech trends (quantum AI, AGI precursors, biohybrid systems)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize breakthrough AI innovations
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Author white papers on the societal impact of 2026 technology adoption
- Mentor junior researchers in futurist methodologies and systems thinking
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 8+ years AI/ML experience
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in quantum machine learning and neural-symbolic AI
- Published research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI)
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Strong background in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
