Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid AI-quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Architect scalable quantum neural networks with 10,000+ qubit capabilities
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks for autonomous systems
- Secure $5M+ in federal research grants through DARPA/NSF partnerships
- Present breakthrough findings at premier conferences (NeurIPS, QIP)
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum-AI convergence projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years leading quantum algorithm development with published top-tier papers
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum cloud platforms (IBM, Rigetti)
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy thresholds and NISQ limitations
- Experience with federated learning and differential privacy frameworks
