Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional research projects in quantum cryptography and secure AI systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for industrial-scale problems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Published record in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (NeurIPS, QIP, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with HPC optimization skills
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical research into scalable solutions
