Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of proprietary AI models targeting deployment in the 2026 ecosystem, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.
- Design and implement novel algorithms that improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Mentor and guide a team of junior data scientists and AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate complex research findings into practical, user-facing applications.
- Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring emerging trends in AI, ensuring Apex Horizon remains a market leader.
- Ensure all research adheres to the highest ethical standards, addressing bias and fairness in AI systems.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning.
- Proven track record of 5+ years in AI/ML research, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong publication record in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI architectures.
- Experience deploying models to production environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
