Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Design novel neural architectures for 2026-era computational challenges
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals/conferences
- Prototype and validate AI solutions using quantum computing frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure external funding through NSF/NIH grants and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI research with published papers in NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Proven track record of translating research into production systems
- Strong background in quantum algorithms or neuromorphic computing
- Experience securing $500k+ in research funding
