Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Transport patients safely within facility settings
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent hospital or long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and drug screen
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
