Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operations Support: Assist in stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a neat and appealing store environment.
- Transaction Management: Process sales accurately using POS systems, handle returns, and manage cash registers with attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure daily goals are met.
- Product Knowledge: Learn and demonstrate knowledge of products to make recommendations and answer technical questions.
- Store Maintenance: Perform light cleaning duties and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as the store operates seven days a week.
- Reliability: A consistent work history and punctuality are essential.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes up to 25lbs, and move around the sales floor.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanners.
