Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Prepare patient rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans
- Transport patients safely within healthcare facilities
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Nursing Assistant (NA) certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and drug screening clearance
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
