Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, ECGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments
- Handle patient scheduling and billing inquiries
- Maintain clean, organized examination rooms
- Provide compassionate patient education
Qualifications
- Current Indiana Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent phlebotomy skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
