Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during overnight hours
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure sterile environments
- Handle patient admissions and discharge procedures
- Respond to emergency situations following protocol
- Collaborate with overnight nursing staff for patient care coordination
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification or national equivalent (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
