Responsibilities
- Perform vital sign assessments and patient intake procedures
- Assist physicians with clinical examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Administer injections and collect specimens under supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification or CMA credential
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (must be current)
- Ability to work flexible shifts between 8am-5pm
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
