Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in finding products and answering basic questions about store policies and merchandise.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store remains clean and visually appealing.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and handle cash transactions with responsibility.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory levels and meet daily sales goals.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure environment.
- Learn and perform basic store maintenance tasks as assigned by the shift manager.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid California State ID or Driver's License is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with people of all ages.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-6 hours) during shifts.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Reliable transportation to and from the San Jose location.
