Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and record incoming inventory, checking for damage or discrepancies.
- Package and label items accurately for shipment or storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in organizing stockrooms and warehouse aisles for maximum efficiency.
- Operate scanning equipment to update inventory management systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for qualified candidates.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk on various surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license may be required for local driving tasks.
