Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Receive, inspect, stage, and organize incoming inventory with high accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers using proper lifting techniques.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
- Report damaged goods, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for extended periods (8-10 hours).
- Basic computer proficiency for scanning labels and logging data.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
