You'll work cross-functionally with R&D, product, and engineering teams to translate emerging trends into actionable roadmaps while maintaining our competitive edge in an exponentially evolving digital world.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech integration, neural interfaces) with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech startups
- Present future-tech insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced materials
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- PhD or Master's degree in relevant field (preferred)
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
