Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional greeting to all customers entering the store and assist them with their needs.
- Customer Support: Answer questions regarding products, services, and store policies in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
- Transaction Processing: Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Merchandising: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and organizing displays.
- Feedback Collection: Actively listen to customer feedback and communicate suggestions to management to improve service quality.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure store goals are met and operational standards are upheld.
- Store Maintenance: Assist in keeping restrooms, aisles, and entrances clean and safe for all shoppers.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills and comfort with using POS systems or touch-screen technology.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Attitude: A positive, customer-first mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record is mandatory.
