Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Perform diagnostic testing and repairs on heating/cooling equipment
- Assist senior technicians with system overhauls and retrofits
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
- Document service reports and maintain customer communication
- Participate in EPA-certified refrigerant handling procedures
- Complete manufacturer-specific training modules quarterly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain EPA 608 certification (company-sponsored)
- Flexible availability for emergency service calls
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
