Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Manage patient records using Epic EHR systems
- Administer medications and injections under physician guidance
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Schedule appointments and handle insurance verification
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Flexible availability including evenings/weekends
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and EKG procedures
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
