Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains organized, clean, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Package and label goods securely for shipping and distribution.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and safety quotas.
- Assist in the organization of pallets and storage areas to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (CDL or forklift certification is a plus but not always required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and accuracy.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
