Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under supervision
- Collaborate with medical staff to create and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA certification or medical assistant preferred
- Minimum 1 year health care experience preferred
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Valid Illinois driver's license if required for travel
- Background check and drug screening mandatory
