Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care and educational activities for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum following NAEYC standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding child development
- Collaborate with teaching teams to create engaging lesson plans
- Adhere to all state licensing and health regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or ECE degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in childcare or early education
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and engage in physical activity
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends
- Valid Florida driver's license (if transporting children)
