Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo: Safely handle goods using standard warehouse equipment and manual techniques, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check, verify, and record incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain precise inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and in strict accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA guidelines and company safety policies to ensure a secure and hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet daily operational goals and tight deadlines.
- General Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Customer Service: Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to orders or stock.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not strictly required for many entry-level roles.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
