Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the daily flow of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues.
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing lists, ensuring all regulatory compliance.
- Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new warehouse staff members.
- Perform regular audits of warehouse procedures to maintain safety and organization standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret shipping logs and reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
