Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the daily inbound and outbound shipping operations to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real-time.
- Review shipping orders to ensure all necessary documentation and labels are correct.
- Monitor shipping costs and work to optimize carrier selection for better efficiency.
- Ensure all safety protocols and compliance regulations are strictly followed on the warehouse floor.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new warehouse staff members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and warehouse software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
