Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor surgical interventions
- Manage patient records using Epic EHR system with 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinic efficiency through scheduling
- Administer medications and immunizations following strict protocols
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile equipment per OSHA standards
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in venipuncture and ECG procedures
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to work between 7am-8pm shifts with rotating weekends
- BLS/CPR certification maintained throughout employment
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
