Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service to guests while maintaining knowledge of seasonal menu items and wine pairings
- Process orders efficiently using our modern POS system and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely delivery
- Upsell premium menu items, beverages, and special promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Manage table rotations and seating arrangements to optimize operational flow during peak hours
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health/safety standards in dining and service areas
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and discretion
- Participate in daily pre-shift briefings and ongoing training programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional restaurant serving experience in high-volume establishments
- Valid Louisiana Food Handler Permit and TABC certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of New Orleans cuisine, local attractions, and cocktail culture preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain composure during busy periods
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support all front-of-house functions
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
