Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 innovation strategies through horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate next-generation products with 18-24 month market impact
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors to co-create future solutions
- Present compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders through data-driven visualizations and scenario planning
- Drive organizational adoption of future-focused methodologies including strategic foresight and agile innovation frameworks
- Mentor a high-performing team of innovation specialists while managing a $2M+ annual innovation budget
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies with 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 3+ years market impact in tech or adjacent industries
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, quantum computing) and their commercial applications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and P&L responsibilities for innovation initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
