Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and researchers to prototype and validate future tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders for collaborative R&D
- Present innovation frameworks and future-tech roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and market testing
- Mentor talent in future-tech methodologies and innovation management
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation, product development, or strategic planning with proven track record of future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex product lifecycles from concept to commercialization
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate market trends into actionable innovation strategies
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-tech projects or thought leadership
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, ICP) preferred
