Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year R&D roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neuromorphic computing)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT-caliber research teams
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through strategic stakeholder alignment
- Develop patent portfolios with 15+ filings in future tech domains
- Partner with UN Technology Envoy on global digital ethics frameworks
- Mentor next-gen innovators through our Future Founders program
- Drive commercialization of at least 3 breakthrough prototypes annually
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Future Systems Design
- 8+ years leading R&D initiatives in exponential technology sectors
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuro-symbolic AI, or decentralized AI
- Published research in Nature/Science with 500+ citations
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($5M+ total)
- Global speaking engagements at Davos, Web Summit, or equivalent forums
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
