Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum-resistant encryption and neuromorphic AI
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven prototyping cycles
- Spearhead patent strategy for emerging IP in climate-tech and biocomputing
- Present quarterly tech briefings to C-suite and venture partners
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Deep understanding of Web3, AR/VR, and decentralized systems
- Experience securing Series B+ funding for tech ventures
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS) preferred
- Portfolio of shipped products with >$50M ARR impact
