Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year tech innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts for 2026
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential for Fortune 500 clients
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for next-gen tech development
- Present future-tech frameworks to C-suite executives and investor stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performance innovation lab team of 8-12 specialists
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging risks and opportunities in tech convergence
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2026+ tech forecasting experience
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of emerging technologies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Experience with patent strategy for breakthrough innovations
