Responsibilities
- Define and execute the 2026 Strategic Technology Roadmap, aligning emerging tech trends with business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional innovation squads focusing on Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Quantum Leap technologies.
- Identify, evaluate, and pilot high-potential technologies to ensure Nexus Horizon remains 3-5 years ahead of the curve.
- Manage the R&D budget with a focus on high-ROI innovation projects.
- Communicate complex technical visions to C-suite executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, agility, and continuous learning within the engineering department.
- Establish partnerships with key tech research institutions and startups for early access to breakthrough technologies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, product management, or strategic consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of Emerging Technologies (AI, Quantum, AR/VR, Blockchain) and their practical business applications.
- Proven track record of strategic foresight and successfully delivering long-term technical roadmaps.
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership without direct authority.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategic insights.
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and diverse, high-performance teams.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
