Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and societal impact
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential (2026-2030)
- Architect ethical frameworks for AI/autonomous systems deployment in regulated industries
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Oversee patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy for emerging tech
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or climate tech
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST standards)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Spectrum)
- Security clearance preferred for government collaboration projects
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/C++) and simulation tools
