Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligning with global market trends and regulatory shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and assess commercial viability
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI/ML implementation and responsible innovation
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for R&D initiatives
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members using data-driven storytelling
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking and technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech research
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
