Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and emerging biotech applications
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen human-computer interfaces and neural integration systems
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives for 2026 market expansion
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and patent opportunities
- Mentor innovation teams in agile development of prototype systems
- Present strategic insights to investors and industry consortiums
- Oversee ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with proven 5+ year horizon planning success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ professionals
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Portfolio of deployed systems generating >$50M annual impact
