Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through investor partnerships
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints with 3-5 year technology adoption plans
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership (Fortune 500 startup experience preferred)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Strong financial acumen for budget management and funding strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level influence
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Java preferred)
