Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify market opportunities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership content positioning company as future-tech authority
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy or innovation consulting
- Proven experience developing future-tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Machine Learning, Google AI)
- Portfolio of published tech trend analyses or strategic documents
