Responsibilities
- Lead strategic research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics) with 2026 implementation roadmaps
- Architect scalable frameworks for integrating futuristic tech into enterprise ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop patentable innovation portfolios targeting $1B+ market opportunities
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed projections
- Mentor cross-functional teams in technology adoption and future-proofing methodologies
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, Web3)
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired, etc.)
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (scenario planning, technology adoption lifecycle)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants for futuristic projects
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ patents or major technological breakthroughs
