Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, bio-hybrid systems)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for prototype development and POC validation
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof technology methodologies
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Proven track record of executing multi-year digital transformation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (NIST AI Framework, ISO 21434)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and disruption forecasting tools
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or innovation management
