- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems ensuring alignment with human values
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through compelling technology investment theses
- Author white papers on future tech trends for industry publication
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough achievements)
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies (quantum, biotech, or climate tech)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of ethical AI governance and responsible innovation frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence for stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
