Responsibilities
- Lead technology forecasting for 2026 market landscape, identifying quantum/AI/IoT convergence opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating blockchain, AR/VR, and sustainable tech into core operations
- Conduct competitive analysis against emerging tech disruptors and future-proof our product ecosystem
- Champion innovation through cross-functional R&D partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA
- Present future tech scenarios to executive board and secure $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Build and lead a 15-person Future Tech Lab with dedicated prototyping facilities
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks and carbon-neutral technology standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of launching future-facing initiatives (quantum computing, AGI, or biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or Harvard Business Review on emerging tech
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global innovation partnerships
- Deep understanding of semiconductor limitations and quantum-resistant cryptography
