Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap across quantum computing, AI, and biotech verticals
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for tech policy advocacy
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop ethical frameworks and governance models for next-generation AI systems
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and venture partnerships
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-defining products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in tech policy development and ethical AI governance frameworks
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, and major tech innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
