Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030 horizon
- Identify emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3) and assess market viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board of directors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Manage R&D budget allocation for future-facing projects
- Drive thought leadership through industry speaking engagements and white papers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching innovative products/services
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, or biotech
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and investors
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent)
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-tech projects or thought leadership
