Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AI, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation decisions
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Master's degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent experience)
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CPSI) preferred
