Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify innovation opportunities
- Partner with product teams to translate technological capabilities into market-ready solutions
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across global locations
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting (e.g., CFIP)
