Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Collaborate with R&D to translate research into commercial applications
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation through competitive analysis and patent strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping
- Strong financial modeling for technology ROI assessment
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
