Responsibilities
- Lead development of the 2026 technology innovation strategy roadmap and implementation framework
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) with disruptive potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Build and manage a global network of innovation partners, startups, and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Oversee $50M+ R&D budget allocation for future-focused projects
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or future forecasting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products in AI, quantum, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in technology adoption lifecycles and market disruption patterns
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leader in technology innovation (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Global network of connections in tech, academia, and venture capital
