Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging technologies including quantum computing, generative AI, and biometric interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen technologies with measurable ROI and adoption metrics
- Mentor cross-functional teams in emerging technology applications and ethical implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic systems, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy (whitepapers, patents, conference keynotes)
- Experience scaling technology solutions from concept to commercial deployment in enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and regulatory landscape evolution
