- Scan horizon for disruptive technologies (2026+ timeframe) and assess commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across enterprise divisions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with R&D labs and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot programs
- Mentor teams in emerging tech methodologies and future-thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or venture capital
- Proven track record identifying and scaling emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech, Web4)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (patents, white papers)
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within large organizations
